Where do you do your restorations?

    I found this interesting video of a guy in California who is restoring a 118-ft topsail schooner in his front yard! He's been doing it since 1971 (and wives complain about a classic car sitting in the drive!). The thing makes his house look like a cabin, too.

    That's classic! We have definitely done some quick work on the smaller boats in the yard, but nothing like that. I don't think the neighbors would take kindly to that kind of project.

    Yeah, mine either. I have a hangar-type steel building out back where I can work on boats, but nothing on the scale of the schooner in that video. That's beyond anything I've ever tackled and if I was to work on something that size, I doubt very much I'd do so alone.
